This one-day seminar, which is designed for human resource professionals, addresses the competencies required to facilitate the resolution of conflict in the workplace. Through lectures, discussions and exercises you will consider best practices and proven strategies for identifying the root causes of conflict and facilitating conversations to discuss and resolve issues.

By the end of this seminar, you will be able to:

Identify common causes of workplace conflict
Facilitate discussions between parties designed to identify issues, explore options, and identify action plans for resolving issues
Manage the emotional environment during a discussion and address inappropriate behaviors
Use a coaching model to promote self-awareness regarding conflict resolution strategies
Develop an action plan and secure a commitment to moving forward.

The completion of this course qualifies IPMA-Canada members to receive five (5) recertification points.
