Course Description

This module covers legal issues related to the employer-employee relationship, including human rights, employment standards, occupational health and safety, pay equity, labor relations, diversity, and harassment.

Learner Outcomes

  • Familiarize with fundamental employment laws in New Brunswick.
  • Minimize employer liability before, during, and after employment.
  • Understand Employment Standards legislation.
  • Understand Human Rights legislation.
