For those who are eligible*, UNB Tax Receipts will soon be posted to your student portal by February 28, 2025. 

If you have already completed the steps below, please disregard this email.

Instructions:
Visit your student portal and login using your username and password.  Once you are logged in you will see “Tax Receipt” on the left hand side, and once you click that you will be able to select the tax year and print the tax receipt.  

Important Note:
All post-secondary institutions are required to provide the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) with Social Insurance Numbers (SIN) on Form T2202 (Education and Textbook Amounts Certificate).

If you have not updated your Social Insurance Number please do so by logging into your student portal and then selecting “My Profile” on the left hand side of the screen. Under “My Profile, you will see Social Insurance Number”. If you have previously declined to provide your Social Insurance Number, you will have to uncheck the statement that says “Student declines to provide Social Security Number” before providing it. If you are having any issues or need assistance you may also call us at 1-888-259-4222 and we will update it in our system.

If you have taken a course within 2024, but registered prior to December 2024, you may have an additional tax receipt that will need to be accessed in your UNB Student Intranet. If this is your situation, you will also be able to access your additional tax receipt by following the steps below:

• Visit the Intranet for Students and scroll down to “Tuition and Fees”. Under this section, click on “Tax Information (T2202, T4, T4A)” which will open a new window where you will see the official tax receipt that can be printed. 
• Important Note: If you have not updated your Social Insurance Number please do so by logging into the Intranet for Students and scroll down to “Personal Information”. Under “Personal Information”, you will see the option to “Update Social Insurance Number (SIN)”. You may also call us at 1-888-259-4222 if you need assistance navigating or accessing the UNB Intranet.

* CRST® and CRSP® prep courses are not eligible.
