Course Description

In a psychologically safe workplace, employees can share their experiences, thoughts, and ideas without fear of reprisal or retaliatory action—a psychologically safe leader is the conduit to a culture that reduces mental risks and harms while continuing to drive performance at the organizational level.

This course will examine key interpersonal skills, and how to develop them, necessary to facilitate a psychologically safe workplace.

Course Outline

This course includes 4 modules and requires approximately 5.5 hours of student engagement.

At the end of this course, there is a comprehensive quiz that requires a grade of 70% to pass. You get two attempts to pass the quiz.

Learner Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the benefits of key interpersonal skills used for facilitating psychologically safe interactions.
  • Understand personal strengths and developmental gap with respect to interpersonal skills used for facilitating psychologically safe interactions.
  • Create a personal action plan for developing interpersonal skills that facilitate psychological safety in the workplace.
