Course Description

To become a psychologically safe leader, you must also ensure that you are attending to your own psychological safety. In this course, you will complete several assessments to understand your strengths and opportunity areas in the arena of interpersonal skills and behaviours that rely on those skills. Developing a personal action plan will help you to identify your mental health needs and define how you show up each day for your team.

Course Outline

This course includes 4 modules and requires approximately 5.5 hours of student engagement.

At the end of this course, there is a comprehensive quiz that requires a grade of 70% to pass. You get two attempts to pass the quiz.

Learner Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the benefits of key intrapersonal skills (trainable and non-trainable) attributed to a psychologically safe leader.
  • Understand personal strengths and developmental gaps with respect to intrapersonal skills attributed to a psychologically safe leader.
  • Create a personal action plan for developing intrapersonal skills that facilitate psychological safety in the workplace.
