MGT 2002 - Taking the Guesswork out of Management (Formerly CCME 1002)
Course Description
Management is constantly faced with the challenge of aligning people and processes in order to maximize results. However, talent management and operations management (TalOp) are frequently viewed as two standalone “pillars” of an organization.
This course will provide you with an overview of the TalOp methodology so you are better able to align people and processes to maximize results and increase transparency, accountability, engagement, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Regardless of the sector in which you work, you will benefit from having an overarching framework, understanding how a group of functions fit in with the organization’s overall strategy, and having a strategy for defining problems and making decisions.
This course can be taken on its own or as part of the required courses for the Certificate in Management Essentials program.
