Course Description

An organization's culture can influence what employees think and do. Managers cannot impose workplace culture or make employees healthy, but they do have an important role influencing both.

This course introduces you to culture and the role of leaders. It examines employee engagement and disengagement, reviews strategies for improving employee retention and helps leaders move employees "beyond engagement."

This course can be taken on its own or as an elective in the Certificate in Management Essentials program.

The completion of this course qualifies IPMA-Canada members to receive five (5) recertification points.
