Course Description

This seminar is also offered as part of the Human Resources Management Program.

This seminar addresses the entire recruitment and selection process, from selecting appropriate recruitment methods and strategies to developing the selection process. You will gain skills in advertising, systematic resume screening, current selection, and interview techniques, including behavioural-based interviews, as well as other assessment and evaluation methodologies.

By the end of this seminar, you will be able to:

  • Identify current issues, challenges, and trends in recruitment and selection
  • Develop appropriate recruitment and selection strategies
  • Describe the rationale for an objective selection process
  • Develop a systematic resume screening process
  • Understand and apply human resource audit tools

The completion of this course qualifies IPMA-Canada members to receive five (5) recertification points.
